Department of Physiology is a preclinical department in A M Shaikh Homoeopathic Medical college and hospital, Belagavi. Imparting knowledge to lay a strong foundation for learning medicine and quality medical research is the subject, Human Physiology. The teaching staff undertakes teaching programmes for Undergraduate students.

             Our objective is in understanding Physiological mechanisms to carry out evidence based innovative teaching and quality scientific research thereby contributing to human welfare. The department has pioneered the use of Audio-Visual teaching aids for promoting student learning. The department is well-designed with an excellent infrastructure which includes well-equipped laboratories for Haematology, Clinical, and Human Physiology. Each laboratory has the capacity to accommodate 40 students. Department also has a demonstration room with a seating capacity of 30 students and a departmental library containing 90 books.
