Principal's Message
It gives me immense pleasure in introducing my institution, which is incidentally also my alma mater. A.M.Shaikh Homoeopathic Medical College was established in the year 1967 with just a handful of students. Today it is a premier institution imparting quality education in the field of homoeopathy, in this part of the country. It is affiliated to RGUHS, Bangalore, Karnataka and is permanently recognized by CCH and Government of Karnataka.
The college is proud of its achievements of preparing over 4000 doctors spread all over the world. Over 20 principals of leading homoeopathic medical colleges across the country are the proud products of this institution. Social accountability is given high priority by all our students while discharging their duties as responsible physicians.
It is indeed a matter of pride that A.M. Shaikh Homoeopathic Medical College was the first Indian college to have the distinction of being awarded the ISO 9002 Certificate in the year 1996, which was later upgraded to ISO 9001-2000 standards.
I deem it a privilege to head such a renowned institution. The institution has a motivated, academically excellent, committed, competent and dedicated teaching faculty. Every student who passes out of Shaikh campus emerges as an exemplary individual who is thorough not only in his subjects but also in other “life skills” like computers, proficiency in communication skills and total personality development
