Department of Obstetrics and Gynacology
A M Shaikh Homoeopathic Medical College, The Department of Obstetrics and Gyneacology is well equipped with all Departmental needs, requirements and provisions to provide quality education to our students with Obstetrics and Gynecology training as part of curriculum.The Department is located at Hospital , there is Museum cum Demo room with 22 specimens, 34 charts, 31 instruments and 02 models for demonstration and 50 Library Books, and OPD/IPD.
The students are provided with knowledge of Obstetrics and Gynecological conditions so that they are able to learn and explore more with our hospital patients both OPD and IPD, the bedside learning in Obstetrics and Gynecology begins from second yr BHMS.
Students are benefitted by witnessing live labour patients, Surgical procedures like, MTP, Tubectomy, Caesarian section, Hysterectomy etc in the well equipped Operation Theater. On call Gynecologists, Surgeons and Anesthetists are available round the clock to meet the emergencies in Obstetrics and Gyneacology department.
The department is well appointed with Qualified Teachers and Guest Faculty with enthusiasm for teaching our students.
