A.M. Shaikh Homoeopathic Medical College was established in 1967 by People’s Education Society & Trust in L.C.E.H., G.C.E.H.,B.H.M.S. & PG. It was the first ever institution in India to get ISO certificate in 1996 2000. It is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. The significant improvement in the academic performance reflects the academic status of the college. This has been achieved through struggle for excellence and quality consciousness. To meet the emerging global challenges, the institute strives hard for all round development of its stake holders so that they can make contributions to the society.
         We have 46 bedded hospital which is now extented to 65 beds having speciality OPDs in Dermatology, Respiratory, Medicine, Inferrtility and Palliative Diseases along with five peripheral OPDs functioning regularly fulfilling all the requirments of National Commission for Homoeopathy.
         We have team of 45 faculty members including Homoeopathic Speciality, Modern Medicine, Super Sepciality of various categories. The infrastructure available at the collegeand hospital fulfilling requirements of MSR with additional facilities towards research. We are invalved in Researchat four levels – UG faculty, PG faculty, PG scholars, UG students and internees. Yearly about 50 projects are taken in different categories of research. We publish more than 75 scientific articles at reputed journals including index and scopus value. We have also participated at University and CCRH Research Projects. We assure to undertake the assignments in scientific way to gain the confidence of Research Society of Homoeopathy.
