Department of Surgery is well equipped with all provisions to provide quality education to our students with surgical training as a part of the curriculum, who are pursuing BHMS degree.

Surgery addresses acute and chronic injuries, deformities, and diseases that require physical intervention through the removal, repair, or reconstruction of specific organs or tissues. Specialties such as General surgery , Urology ,  ENT, Ophthalmology, Dentistry, and Orthopaedics.

We are well equipped with OT, C-arm machine, X-ray machine, on call Orthopedican, General surgeon and two full time Urologists. We lay emphasis on need of good bedside manners and value of Doctor- Patient relationship to provide comprehensive surgical care with our OPD & IPD wards.

Department is well resourced with Departmental Library,  25charts, 6 models, 37 instruments, 09  specimens and many types of X rays for demonstration and training of students and Interns.

Apart from the New NCH requirement the Department of Surgery is well equipped with additional Charts , Models , Specimens (Collected from our OT) and X rays of almost all the systems including plain and Contrast medium X rays.

Department is well appointed with qualified teachers and guest faculty with zeal of teaching our students with surgical training as a part of the curriculum.
